BABY ESSENTIALS
Joy & Joice, 100% natural, aromatherapy candles for expecting or new mamas
The months before and after having a baby are just the cosiest periods, the waiting, preparing the house, and then the delightful cocooning on the couch with your tiny newborn in your arms... Rachel (a really cute young mum I met at the London ShopUp last December) really craved the comforting atmosphere that scented candles create during these ...

Sweet illustrations, by Laura Uy
Laura Uy is a Canadian illustrator with such a lovely, playful style. Her work mainly focusses on greeting cards and prints, which make great decor pieces for children's rooms. I love that bear in the photo above, so whimsical (the gold stars are hand-painted and make the print extra pretty). Laura's greeting cards have such sweet illustrations with the cutest puns. There are cards for ...

Some favourites from Couverture & the Garbstore
Living in London, I was often asked to share a list of my favourite shops in the city. Couverture was always at the top of my list. It's been a favourite store for as long as I can remember, and even if I didn't end up buying anything, I always loved popping into the shop for ...

Aren't these origami napkins from Lollipop design the cutest? And so clever and fun too! We always use cloth napkins for our meals -- for environmental reasons, but also because I simply like the look of them. These napkins are so brilliant because they look so super cute, giving a really special touch to the table -- ...

DIY: Printed Cardboard Box
I had a few items like socks, a hat, sunscreen, a lost toy, a diaper, probably also the pacifier etc. stacked in an ugly cardboard box in Talan’s part of the entrance way. I couldn’t look at it anymore but I also didn’t get a chance to find and buy a decent wooden box so ...

DIY: Dipped Wooden Spoons
I’ve been eyeing the dipped wooden spoons for a while now and the penny pincher in me decided to make something similar on her own instead of buying them. The Little Things... making pompoms for a spring branches bouquet
For this The Little Things post, we've been making pompoms for an Easter Tree-inspired, spring branches bouquet.
