The Secret Society of Letter Writers, by Master Boddington
The Secret Society of Letter Writers (S.S.L.W.)... If something sparks the imagination of a ten-year-old, it is Secrets and Societies! A while ago, I brought home a little card from the ShopUp in New York, inviting the reader (in this case Pim) to join the S.S.L.W. The Secret Society of Letter Writers strives 'to honour and protect ...

A Day in Ricetown, a clever colour and activity book
A Day in Ricetown is one of the cutest and most creative colouring / activity books I have ever laid eyes on. Not surprising, maybe, since Noodoll Studio is a wonderful creative hub where the most adorable plush toys are created. There is something incredibly wantable about their Ricemonsters -- you just want to collect ...

We already know ...

Original 'winter cards' and more happy graphics by Bl-ij
I love these original 'winter cards' by Dutch graphic designer Bibi de Lang from Bl-ij. Such a lovely alternative to the Merry Christmas or Happy New Year card! You can even send them outside the holiday season -- how lovely to receive a lovely, warm (!), old-fashioned, handwritten card when it's cold and dark outside! ...

Fresh Press, cool cards with bold backs
I recently got thank-you-cards printed at Fresh Press. They are of the Later Gator range, and they are very cool! Love the green alligator, and love the funky red/green back, which is very refreshing. All Fresh Press cards have the signature patterned back, which gives the cards that special distinction... I also had address labels printed, ...

My son's second birthday is rapidly approaching. Well, it's another 7 weeks to go, but still, I caught myself thinking about invitations, and maybe a theme already! Stationary company Urbanity Studios might help me out a little with both 'problems'. With their cute 'Airplane Invitation' I can invite the little guests to 'fly in for a party', ...

The Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace is a hidden gem in the heart of London. Perfect for half term or one to add to the bucket list. Lara’s family visited this summer and realised it ticked all the boxes — culture, history, horses, cars, carriages, and stories that have inspired fairytales! It’s a semi outdoor museum, so it’s easy to relax at, as well. Book a space and visit The Queen’s working stables, it’s a wonderful day in London.
