Fluo Clotaire Shoes
I think it is hilarious that during the coldest, wettest, dreariest spring that has hit Europe in the last 40 years, the trend is bright, flashy, happy neon. It is just as if the fashion industry has predicted the weather! Bright colour is key over here in Paris at the moment, so it brightened my ...

When Esther and I were in NYC this past weekend we had the enormous pleasure of meeting the lovely Kirsten Lombardi, founder and creator of Manimal. We fell so in love with her moccasins that we immediately bought a matching pair of baby moccasins for Marlow and Casper, and then just couldn't resist buying matching ...

I'm soooo fed up with all the rain we've had this spring in London! Apart from a couple sunny weeks, it has been a loooooong wet year so far! Instead of buying my kids new summery sandals, I recently had to go out and buy raincoats and wellies... er, I mean Splats!!! Have you heard of ...

Clotaire shoes
Here is my theory for kids shoes: Children grow so fast there seems to be no point to have more than a pair of sneakers, a pair of boots for the winter, a pair of sandals for the summer, and a simple shoe that can go with jeans and dresses and can be worn with ...

Clogs
Did you ever have clogs when you were a child? I did and I absolutely loved them! They made lots of noise when I walked and they made me feel tall and it was brilliant! As a lot of childhood memories, I had totally forgotten about my childhood love for clogs... until Coco was given ...

Native Jeffersons from Life & Soles
There is the slightest tinge of spring in the air here in London and all I can think about is summer!!! It's really not far away now (or at least that's what I'm telling myself)! Hopefully I'm not jinxing things by already buying summer shoes for my kids, but these Native shoes just seem like the ...

Are these shoes made for walking?

Snook velcro sneakers
The teachers at my sons' school have asked that kids wear either slip-on or velcro sneakers. Apparently they don't love tying the laces of 20 different high-top Converse All-Stars. It’s World Mental Health Week this week, which is a wonderful opportunity to talk about our children’s mental health and how best to support our kids through their emotional ups and downs. In the research @courtneyadamo did on adolescence for her Tweens & Teens e-course, @intheloop.teens she learned that it is normal for mental health and self-esteem to plummet at the onset of adolescence and puberty. Adolescence is a huge developmental period where children’s brains are being reconstructed, their emotions are supercharged, their bodies are changing and they are charting a path away from their parents, leaving behind the comforts and familiarity of childhood. If you think about it, it would be strange if our tweens and teens didn’t feel confused, anxious and self-critical at some stage in this developmental period. These emotional ups and downs are completely normal. Despite knowing this, it can still be incredibly difficult to see our children sad, anxious or angry. Sometimes their big emotions can make us uncomfortable or want to retreat. So what exactly should we do when we see our children struggling? Link in bio for some recommendations Courtney’s gathered from the research she’s done… #worldmentalhealth
