Win a Set of Iconic Petit Bateau Outfits!
I have always loved seeing my kids absorbed in an intricate game of their own making. There is something so special and touching about the imaginary worlds that children are able to create in their own heads, and encouraging creativity and imagination is one of the best ways to nurture our children.  (I recently watched my ...

Oh my, how adorable is this little Petit Bateau rain cape? And so practical for the coming months! We are a huge fan of the well known yellow rain coats (we have them for all of our kids!), and this new rain coat is just the perfect translation of this classic for any sweet little baby. ...

The "Ciré" Petit Bateau
Fact: In Paris it rains - a lot (sometimes it feels it is never going to stop!). All kids need a raincoat... Not just one of those flimsy little numbers out of cotton, but a real, waterproof raincoat that can withstand the elements.  And there is one classic raincoat that has been around here in ...

La marinière
If you were to draw a caricature  of a French man, you would very likely draw a guy on a bicycle with a baguette under his arm, a beret on his head, a healthy looking mustache and a blue and white striped T-shirt. Not all of it would be a cliché: the blue and white ...

Petit Bateau summer collection
I always loved Petit Bateau for its amazing quality and simple designs, but I always felt the baby collections were so much cuter than those for bigger kids. However, in the past year, something has changed. Last winter's 2+ collection was so overly cute, with mustardy yellows and poppy pink, and now that I've seen ...

In the mood for Yellow
Yet again Courtney and Esther have inspired me and I am now obsessed with the colour yellow.  You know how when you get obsessed with something, you then see it everywhere? I was strolling through my area here in Paris today and the colour yellow was everywhere, from the colour of the leaves on the ...

Petit Bateau does organic!
When I heard that Petit Bateau had launched an organic range, I couldn't help but take a peak into one of their shops.  And, even though I have resisted buying anything for the new baby up until now (yes, I'm serious!), I couldn't help but buckle. My very first purchase for baby number three? This ...

The perfect travel outfit
Michela has already raved before about the Petit Bateau reversible striped suit, but I thought it was worth mentioning again because it is my favorite travel outfit for babies (0-24 months). This all-in-one coverall is cozy enough to be used as pajamas, but cute enough to be worn during the day, outside of the house. ...

It’s World Mental Health Week this week, which is a wonderful opportunity to talk about our children’s mental health and how best to support our kids through their emotional ups and downs. In the research @courtneyadamo did on adolescence for her Tweens & Teens e-course, @intheloop.teens she learned that it is normal for mental health and self-esteem to plummet at the onset of adolescence and puberty. Adolescence is a huge developmental period where children’s brains are being reconstructed, their emotions are supercharged, their bodies are changing and they are charting a path away from their parents, leaving behind the comforts and familiarity of childhood. If you think about it, it would be strange if our tweens and teens didn’t feel confused, anxious and self-critical at some stage in this developmental period. These emotional ups and downs are completely normal. Despite knowing this, it can still be incredibly difficult to see our children sad, anxious or angry. Sometimes their big emotions can make us uncomfortable or want to retreat. So what exactly should we do when we see our children struggling? Link in bio for some recommendations Courtney’s gathered from the research she’s done… #worldmentalhealth
