Tuesday Tips: (trying to) raise good and healthy eaters
How come some children are good, healthy eaters, and some are super picky and have a difficult relationship with food? Is it a matter of nature, or of nurture? I was recently chatting with my girls' ballet teacher, a lovely lady of sixty-something, and she was telling me about her baby granddaughter, who basically refused to eat ...

Bambu Give-away!
An important factor in raising children is, as we are all well aware, teaching them to eat healthy and responsibly.  Offering your kids a varied diet with fresh, organic ingredients (and trying to make them eat it too) is one of the big challenges of parenthood!  These days however, we have discovered that 'eating healthy' isn't just limited to the food ingredients we use.  No, the tableware ...

Good soup
Last Saturday I felt that we all needed a super-healthy dinner, but since we'd had a late lunch it needed to be light, and since it was the weekend it had to be easy.  I sort of randomly started throwing vegetables in a Dutch oven, and it ended up a delicious thick vegetable soup that even my children found ...

It is a beautifully illustrated story of a girl named Belle and her adventures in the French countryside, where she meets a talking bee and is introduced to the wonders of nature. Wild Garlic, or Ramson, is abundant in early Spring. We have a simple pesto recipe in our bio which is great with pasta, on fish, or with a cheese toastie! And if you are wondering what’s so good about wild garlic, well, it’s great for you! It has antibacterial, antibiotic, antiseptic properties so it makes sense to pack as much into your diet as you can. It reduces blood pressure, heart disease and the risk of stroke. It’s also fun to forage. Recipe from @laraoflondon
