Falling Leaves -- make Stained Glass
We love seasonal crafts at Babyccino, and Autumn is such a colourful time to embrace the vibrant Fall outdoor palette, and bring it indoors before things quickly change! I grew up making this 'stained glass' craft each year. Perfect for rainy days, or a relaxed afternoon activity after a walk. My children loved this craft ...

Last of Autumn Leaves -- Leaf Rubbings, an easy Craft Project
The end of November in London means those glorious Autumnal ochre and reds are fading to brown. Yesterday, our local park had more leaves on the ground than on the trees, so I wanted to capture the season in crafts, before Winter winds blow all the bold colours away. Leaf rubbings are so easy to do, ...

Triangular crayons!
Last week in New York we had dinner with the ever so sweet Annie from Brimful, and she brought us a few sweet and thoughtful gifts. One of them is a little container with crayons, which is nothing that special in theory, except for the fact that the crayons are triangular! How clever! Not only are ...

Playon Crayons
A friend gave my daughter these fun non-toxic crayons for her third birthday. I wish I’d known about them sooner! They are wildly entertaining as you can color with them, stack them into towers, turn them upside down and pretend they are ice cream cones, and put them on little toddler hands as extra colorful ...

Crayons by Lil' Doodlers
Birthday number FIVE for my twins is two short weeks away and I have been on the look-out for some cute parting gifts to send home with the little ladies who are coming to celebrate.  How sweet are these little crayon rings from Lil' Doodlers?  Love them.  The creator,  not shockingly a mom, uses recycled ...

Beeswax crayons from Muji
I know this isn't going to help with the whole crayon graveyard problem that Dina wrote about last week, but I just love these beeswax crayons from Muji.  For one, they come in a little box with a plastic tray insert and it seems to keep them a bit more organized than normal crayon boxes. ...

Everything Under the Sun is a new book out by Molly Oldfield. The book is a collection of answers to 366 curious questions asked by children from around the world. Fascinating facts are accompanied by vibrant illustrations from a selection of great illustrators, making the book as cute as it is educational. The book is based on the award-winning podcast @everythingunderthesunpod also by Molly Oldfield, where she and other experts answer questions sent in from children. We’ve been listening to Molly’s podcast episodes in the car, and we’re all learning so much! We’ve learned about bees and wind, narwhals and unicorns, to Egyptians and mummies. It’s so cute! I can’t recommend the book highly enough. Whether you read a question a day, or dip into it whenever you are feeling curious, this is a book to treasure and share all year round. It would also make a wonderful birthday gift for any young person in your life. @mollyoldfieldwrites @courtneyadamo #babyccinobooks #babyccinoreads
