The Zoo of Barcelona

Parenting without Borders, by Christine Gross-Loh
I recently read a conversation with Christine Gross-Loh in the super cool Lunch Lady magazine about raising kids in different cultures. It's a topic I find fascinating having brought up our girls in places throughout Europe, Africa and in the USA. I've seen so much diversity in childhoods and had so many discussions about parental topics with friends from all nationalities ...

What kind of music do you listen to with your children?
Growing up on a farm in a rural corner of the Pacific Northwest, we didn’t have cable TV. There wasn’t much to watch so the television was rarely turned on. The stereo, by contrast, was always on and music was a big part of my childhood. I still remember dancing with my mom in the ...

Imagination Playground
The vast majority of playgrounds in New York City offer variations on relatively constant themes: slides, swings, ladders, and elevated structures to encourage physical play. Choosing the best sun protection for your kids
During this year of adventure we have enjoyed mostly sunny, warm climates. This was by design, of course, and following the sun meant we didn't have to burden ourselves or our bags with heavy, winter clothing. The slight downside was that we have spent a year toting around hats, sun shirts and sun cream, rarely going a day without thinking about sun ...

Our dear friend, Kiki Morriss, has recently launched her book ‘Nurturing Your Family with Yoga.’ Kiki went to medical school to become a doctor, and then went on to follow her passion of teaching yoga, setting up a yoga studio in Primrose Hill. In her book, Kiki explains the basics and benefits of doing yoga with your family. She shares practical advice and tips for sharing yoga successfully with your kids, and she offers up an A to Z section of 26 different poses for your children to try. For every pose, she shares instructions, a list of benefits, a visualisation and an affirmation. For some of the poses, there are additional games, breathing exercises, adjustments, reflections and guided meditations. The book is designed for you and your children to open up the book to any page to be inspired. We can’t recommend it enough. Welcome to our newest #babyccinokidsboutiques on the block! Eco conscious clothing and decor for adventurous kids … Bella + Phoenix! Brand @bella_and_phoenix is created by Debbie Turrell a Sussex based graphic designer/illustrator and mum. From a young age both her children showed an avid interest in the natural world. From rock pooling to finding mini beasties in the back garden, everything would be inspected (not dissected!) and then avidly talked about. Next would come the barrage of questions! It inspired her to come up with the 'Tee of Knowledge’. The clothing is organized into cute themes and children will definitely feel inspired when they are dressed and ready for an afternoon spent amongst nature! Being passionate about ethical production, all the clothing is handprinted to order in Bella and Phoenix Sussex studio on organic cottons, using eco friendly inks. The packaging is recycled and 100% biodegradable too. We hope your little explorers will be inspired!
