Olivier Baby and Kids, at the ShopUp this week!
Olivier Baby and Kids is one of my favourite places to find cosy cashmere products for the kids. Last winter Marlow lived in her little bonnet and all the kids had one of their snoods, each a different colour to keep things easy when bundling up before leaving the house. This year they've added hand-knitted pom-pom hats (with ...

Colourful cashmere accessories from Olivier Baby and Kids
I recently got the kids cashmere snoods and I honestly don't know what took me so long to catch on to this convenient fashion trend. Snoods are so much easier than scarves. Hands down. (I can totally understand now why scarves were banned from Emilie's girls' school! They're a pain to keep wrapped around the neck, and often ...

Cosy Cashmere from La Petite V
Who doesn't love the wonderful quality of cashmere? It's soft, warm, natural, and because of the warmth regulating characteristics of the material, it's just perfectly snug and comfortable --  both in winter and in summer. So we're very happy with the discovery of the new Amsterdam based label La Petite V, which focusses entirely on gorgeously ...

Sweet teddybear ear balaclavas from Nilka
I (or really, Sinterklaas) couldn't resist buying this cute cashmere teddybear balaclava from Nilka for Casper at the ShopUp last week, and I'm so happy I did. He looks so adorable in it! I just love balaclavas, they are perfect when it's chilly outside. They cover ears, neck, and chubby cheeks, and are also virtually impossible ...

Tannhäuser -- quality cashmere with colourful details
I've been in touch with the lovely Dana from Tannhäuser for a few years now, and she's kept me in the loop on the progress of building her brand, perfecting her cashmere collections (and the birth of her baby called Rosa!). It's really interesting to hear how translating an interesting idea into a quality collection ...

Adorable Baby Cashmere -- from Les Tricots de Margot
Winter has hit us, dear friends. It's been snowing here in Amsterdam and temperatures are dropping below zero constantly... which annoys me majorly because my pumpkins which were out on the garden table froze! Apart from that, I find this time of year super cozy. Especially when it involves warm, woolen knits... and most especially ...

Madison Browne does cashmere
My husband and I joke that the upside to English weather is that you never have to switch out your winter wardrobe for your summer one, and you can wear cashmere all year long! (Seriously, yes -- summer is really that bad here.) Now, buying cashmere for your kids does seem a bit indulgent... but ...

Bonnie Baby blanket
My daughter's transitional object is a very soft, but very thin, cashmere blanket. As the months go by she gets more attached to it, not less. Unfortunately her blanket is showing more than a few signs of intensive use. I have been looking around to find a replacement, and opted for this striped cashmere blanket ...

Hi guys! Here Bethie and I are showing you how to prepare a super easy dish that your family will love -- a video we bring to you in cooperation with Abel & Cole, deliverer of fabulous food boxes filled to the brim with organic freshness! Here's the list of ingredients: a royal 1 tbsp of olive oil 1 butternut squash 1 red onion 2 red peppers 2 garlic cloves 4 vine tomatoes 150g quinoa sea salt & freshly ground pepper 300 ml vegetable stock 2 tbsp red wine vinegar 25g raisins 80g black olives And for the garnish: a handful of chervil feta (optional) Directions: Peel your butternut squash. Cut in half and scoop out the seeds. Chop the flesh into 1cm chunks. Peel and cut the onion into thick slices. Cut the pepper in half and scoop out the seeds and white pith. Chop into bitesized pieces. Peel and thinly slice the garlic. Roughly chop the tomatoes. Rinse the quinoa under cold water to remove any bitterness. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large heavy based pan. Tip in all the veg and quinoa. Pour in the veg stock and the red wine vinegar. Add the raisins and the olives. Season with salt and pepper. Pop on a lid and cook for 30-40 mins until the squash is soft and the sauce thick. Stir every now and then during cooking. Scatter over the chervil (or flat leaf parsley leaves) and serve in warm bowls. Top with crumbled feta if you like! A super colourful, super easy and super delicious dish for taste buds of all ages! Bon appétit!
