Notabag, a foldable bag AND backpack in one!
Here in the Netherlands, like in many other countries, shops are not allowed to hand out plastic carrying bags for free. Because of this, most people will bring re-useable carrying bags when (grocery) shopping -- a great effort to reduce some of the plastic waste which we already have way too much of in our environment. The new Free-to-Grow baby carrier by Tula
Until recently, if you had asked me what my favourite baby carrier was, I would have had a 3-part answer. I would have mentioned my favourite sling for the newborn days, a baby carrier to follow, and then a separate toddler carrier for when the baby is bigger. In the twelve years I've been a parent, ...

The anticipation of going away would slowly build up with every list I would make, every item of clothing I would put aside, each travel-sized toiletry I would purchase... Nowadays (having to pack not just for myself but also ...

Would you travel internationally for a total of 22 hours with a toddler and a baby, (or more children?), and without another adult or helping hand? I just did this summer. Not once, not twice, but four times (ok, two of those times were domestic US flights so they were a bit shorter). After my ...

A different kind of BABYMOON (with two babies!)
While in my last trimester I got the super (super) strong desire to go on an adventure abroad. So strong I was daydreaming in foreign languages! It became a craving. Visiting various London museums was fine, but I wanted to be submersed in another culture, and have an adventure somewhere completely new. But... I wasn’t ...

My favourite sunsreen -- Aesop's Protective Body Lotion SPF50
I have applied sunscreen every day for the past five months. It's become a normal part of my morning routine: brush teeth, wash face, apply sunscreen. The sun is so harsh here in New Zealand that sunscreen is necessary even on cloudy days! I picked up this Aesop protective body lotion last summer before leaving ...
