Vicks Behind-the-ear thermometer
It's funny how medical care can be so different from country to country.  When I lived in London and asked the pharmacist for some suppositories to give to my sick baby, he literally looked at me as if I was asking him to stand on his head and sing the ABCs. Whereas here in Amsterdam, ...

FlexiBath, the smart solution baby bath!
Some of you may be so lucky to have a bathroom that fits a Rolls Royce (or two) easily, but ours is on the smaller side (read: tiny)... This is why I'm so happy with our FlexiBath -- it can be folded completely flat! Genius. This bath is also great when you just have a ...

Bugaboo Double Stroller
I don't know what is in the water at the moment but loads of people I know are expecting not only one baby, but two. In fact, in one week I had two friends of mine call me with their happy news and both had two buns in the oven. Well, Bugaboo seems as usual ...

Nyp Balm, food for your boobs (and baby's bottom)
The third time around, breastfeeding was easy. I knew exactly what to do, and the baby also got it immediately -- she was breastfeeding within minutes after she was born, as if we both had been doing nothing else for years. Life is beautiful. I also knew exactly what to expect a few days after ...

Beco Potty -- the eco-friendly potty!
Potty training is one of the most frustrating moments of motherhood as far as my experience goes. But when it's done and over with, it's in fact one of the most rewarding!!! I LOVE the concept behind this Eco Potty from Becothings. It's a potty, in its very basic shape, but the material it is ...

Sweet for Baby: Travel Bag By Maud
Things handmade always have something extra precious about them. They always remind me of my mum, who was fond of sewing and was never too busy to start yet another little project for her grandchildren. This travel bag made By Maud has that lovely handmade feel to it and you can see that a lot ...

Mommy Toolbox -- clips that do the trick
Not sure what I like more about the company 'Mommy Toolbox' -- the name or the products it sells! Within a few months I'll be walking around with a pushchair again, and will be found struggling with jumpers and scarfs, trying to keep the sun out of my baby's eyes, and trying to keep the ...

It's hot here in England, and I could not be any happier! After the past couple summers of cloud and rain, we are finally, finally getting a summer!  In fact, the Met office just issued a heat warning for the UK as temperatures are predicted to rise above 30° here in London.  While I love ...

I Carry ERGO sunt
I am not obsessed with babywearing, but in the past 3½ years I have done my share of carrying babies. I used the Tricotti and the Babybjorn quite extensively but this past summer I went looking for a new carrier -- summers in Italy are too warm for the Tricotti and even my daughter was ...

Bugaboo Bee
I really wish this post was about my new stroller and about how much I like it, but unfortunately we already own three pushchairs (a Bugaboo Cameleon, a Maclaren Quest and an in-line double Graco) and there is no chance I can convince my husband we really need another one. But, if I was going to buy ...
