Josefina Bags -- redefining the nappy bag
On first glance, the Josefina bag looks like a beautiful, super stylish handbag -- something you'd feel comfortable carrying into a business meeting or hanging over your arm on a date with your husband. Nothing about this bag says 'baby', and yet it happens to be an extremely practical, super handy nappy bag. The Josefina ...

My favourite dress (and it's pregnancy and breastfeeding friendly!)
A couple years ago, at the start of our family travels, I discovered the newly opened Christy Dawn shop in Venice, California. We were renting a house around the corner and I managed to sneak off one morning (without kids!) for a little browse around the shop. I loved everything in the entire store, but ...

Meaningful Father's Day gifts from Merci Maman
In many countries in the world, we celebrate Father's Day this coming Sunday. In our case, this means that Tamar can stay in bed while the rest of the family goes downstairs to make breakfast: usually scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, muffins and a glass of champagne. We bring up coffee and a newspaper while we ...

Notabag, a foldable bag AND backpack in one!
Here in the Netherlands, like in many other countries, shops are not allowed to hand out plastic carrying bags for free. Because of this, most people will bring re-useable carrying bags when (grocery) shopping -- a great effort to reduce some of the plastic waste which we already have way too much of in our environment. The ...

Essential packing for a weekend with the kids (with Lo & Sons)
If you love traveling, there's also the packing to deal with beforehand. Before children, this was part of the fun for me. The anticipation of going away would slowly build up with every list I would make, every item of clothing I would put aside, each travel-sized toiletry I would purchase... Nowadays (having to pack not just for myself but also ...
