I received Ottolenghi’s new ‘Simple‘ cookbook in a gift exchange on Christmas Day, and it has quickly become our go-to cookbook. I have Ottolenghi’s first two cookbooks, but admittedly found the recipes in those books to be too time consuming or they required too many hard-to-track-down ingredients that the recipes were impossible to make. His new ‘Simple’ cookbook has literally answered my cooking prayers. The recipes are just that: simple to make! And just as delicious, of course.
I love his S.I.M.P.L.E. coding and the way each recipe is marked. S for Short on Time, I for 10 ingredients or less, M for Make Ahead, P for Pantry, L for Lazy and E for Easier Than you Think. And I also love that there are so many wonderful vegetarian (or non-meat) recipes. Everything we’ve made has honestly been SO GOOD.
Some favourite recipes we’ve tried and loved so far:
Can’t wait to try more recipes!

I love it too! The cornbread with feta is amazing and the best thing to bring along to a brunch!
This sounds like my kind of cookbook!
