Cozy C.O.Q. Hotel in the 13th with delicious brunch

The C.O.Q. hotel is probably one of Paris’ coziest hotels! With a family house in mind, Pauline d’Hoop and Delphine Sauvaget designed this wonderfully comfortable hotel in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. The layout really represents what you would typically expect when entering a family mansion: the entrance, the kitchen and dining room on the right, the living room on the left, a little courtyard (with chicken!) in the back and all rooms upstairs.

There are three categories to choose from when booking a room: the Classique, the Supérieure and the Deluxe. The difference between the three mostly lies in the square footage as each and every room was designed with the same amount of Parisian charm, vintage accents and tons of coziness.

If traveling solo or as a couple the Classique would be the most budget friendly option. The Supérieure and Deluxe rooms are the roomier options to accommodate a traveling family of 3 or 4. For a larger family I would suggest booking adjacent rooms. Number 26 and 27 for example, are next to each other and share a small doorstep you can lock so your kids don’t go directly out into the hotel corridors when leaving their room and have easy access to your own room.

Another absolutely amazing option at C.O.Q. Hotel is the brunch! It is self-service buffet style, served in the kitchen area. You can sit down where pleases you in the dining or living room area and enjoy all the delicious varieties of foods ranging from granola, pancakes and French boulangerie delicacies to different types of quiches, salads, ham, cheese, yogurts and fruit. Coffee, tea, water and fresh juices come with the scrumptious meal. The food is super fresh and really yummy, a feast, even for the youngest palates!

While enjoying brunch or just relaxing in the living room area you could go through a couple coffee table books or play one of the board games. Don’t you love those kind of personal touches in a hotel that make you feel like at home?

So all together, I would say if you are looking for a family friendly hotel on the cosy side with the loveliest staff in the heart of Paris, search no more! C.O.Q. Hotel is your way to go!

Jardin des Plantes
Paris can get pretty wet and cold in the winter and sometimes it is nice to be able to seek refuge inside. One of our favourite city adventures in the winter time is a visit to the Jardin des Plantes. It is one of Paris' largest parks (which does not mean a lot ;)) and also ...
La Mercerie Parisienne
One of my favourite shops in Paris is not a shoe shop or a fancy food shop (though there are many). It is actually a beautiful, little haberdashery shop in the Marais: L'Entrée des Fournisseurs is full of ribbons, buttons, fabrics and wool, just like in the good old days. It also stocks some of my ...
Bontemps - delicious pastries in the Marais
Located on rue de Bretagne, not far from Marché des Enfants Rouges, Bontemps is one of those places you enter and like everything you see! The family run pastry shop is small and sweet with a clean aesthetic and beautiful patterns all over. Their own patterns adorn the walls and a beautiful tiled floor gives ...
Maison Plisson
On the Boulevard Beaumarchais, just down the road from some of our favourite shops, be it the famed Merci, the lovely children's shop Bonton or Soeur, you will find one of my current favourite places: Maison Plisson a restaurant, bakery, and deli all in one. The products are without exception fabulous. Mostly local, it is ...
