Grab a Quick Coffee

Los Angeles is sprinkled with good coffee and tea options. Depending on where you live (and if you are lucky!), good coffee options are in walking distance. I’m one of the few adults who never has and probably never will be a coffee drinker (I crave a good chai latte!), but I’m surrounded by people who know a good spot or two for some of the best coffee in town, luckily. Here we go for tried and approved coffee hotspots in Los Angeles (by alphabet):

Civil Coffee: Bright and airy coffee shop serving craft coffee, espresso, pastries and light breakfast and lunch fare. Located in Highland Park (Northeast Los Angeles)

Demitasse: High Tech coffee brewing in Los Angeles with locations in Santa Monica (Westside), Little Tokyo and West Hollywood (both Central LA).

Gjusta: Artisanal bakery offering fresh baked breads, cheese and smoked fish deli along with carefully crafted coffee in an industrial warehouse style setting. Located in Venice on the Westside of Los Angeles.

Intelligentsia: Industrial chic coffee bar chain serving roasted brews and teas. Located in Venice (Westside), Silverlake (Central LA) and Pasadena (The Verdugos).

République: In addition to great coffee or tea, this place is heaven for a a good pastry or breakfast to accompany your morning latte. Located on La Brea Blvd close to the Miracle Mile District in  Central Los Angeles.

Superba: Family friendly coffee and pastry bar, but also offers full sit down menu. This place is so good, they opened two locations: Venice (Westside) and El Segundo (South Bay)
