We are always on the lookout for good Mexican restaurants, it’s one of our favourite foods and not always easy to find in London so we were thrilled to find this little gem of a restaurant that has recently opened in one of our best loved spots – Exmouth Market.
Cielo Blanco is a fun Mexican tapas style restaurant with a vibrant, lively atmosphere and quirky, colourful decor. The emphasis here is on relaxed social dining, paired with a passion for Mexican cocktails. Choose from tapas sized street food dishes, larger mains or sharing plates and if its too early for cocktails, try one of their delicious super juices or Mexican fruit waters. We loved both the fish and chicken tinga tacos and the slow cooked goat pilbil flautas. The kids enjoyed quesadillas from the children’s menu and also devoured a side of sweet potato fries. Unfortunately we didn’t leave much room for desert but just enough to share between us a portion of our favourite churros and an amazing Dulce de Leche ice cream sundae, delicious!
As with most restaurants and cafes in Exmouth Market there are plenty of outdoor tables and chairs creating that inviting cosmopolitan street-cafe vibe. With an interesting menu packed full of unique twists on traditional Mexican dishes and good- milder kids options too, we think it’s a perfect spot for a family lunch or early dinner.
Cielo Blanco, 55 Exmouth Market, London, EC1R 4QL

Hi, could you please put full addresses for the places/stores. A lot of these post in the London city guide don’t have a full address for the place you’re describing. It would be helpful to have a full address, location map even, or a link to the website if they have one. Also, some of the older posts are so out of date 2007/2008/2009 in particular, that the stores have closed.
Many thanks, Maddie
Hi Maddie, thanks so much for your comment. We are in the process of updating our city guide posts so will definitely remove any that are no longer relevant. I will add addresses to the main text and you can also see map locations for many of the newer posts on the main map search function which can be found on each city guide home page. Thanks again for your really useful comments.
