Secret Garden, an intricate colouring book

secret garden inside

My mom bought this Secret Garden colouring book for my kids last year and it was recently rediscovered when we went through our crafts cupboard last week during the move. My kids (especially Quin) have enjoyed colouring in the intricate colouring pages, and the end result is so pretty I’ve started hanging up all of their coloured pages on our walls. Even I have enjoyed colouring in the pages with the kids — it’s one of those colouring books that appeals to kids and grown-ups alike (probably best for kids aged four and older — you’ll see from the top photo that Marlow took it upon herself to colour the cover and it’s not really the desired result you’re looking for with a book like this).

The Secret Garden colouring book is available from Amazon (US and UK ) and I’ve just seen that there is also a set of colour-in postcards  in this same series. So pretty!

We love this book too – we gave it to Layla for Christmas and I find myself sitting at the kitchen bench after the kids have gone to bed continuing on the page she left open. Kind of therapeutic! And nice gifts for her little friends too!

We love ours! We like to lay on the floor and colour it together. <3

I gave this book to my best friend for Christmas as she’s always on the go and needed something that she could enjoy doing during a 5 minute break. I think it’s perfect but I’m pretty sure she spents more than 5 minutes at a time with it! 🙂

How funny. I coinsidentally discovered it last week when I did a big order for my kids and I had to add it to the batch (it’s probably more for me than for my 3 and 1 year old). It has not arrived yet, but I am even more excited about it now 🙂

We love this book too. This is “mummy’s colouring book” in our house! 😉 But we all love to colour the gorgeous pictures together! Excited to hear there are postcards too!

My husband bought it on valentines day for my 2 year old daughter and I to share together. I colour in intricately and she does the best she can with little circles till she gets bored and then just does big scribbles instead. We take it out to dinner when we eat out and all colour in together.

So pretty! If you search the guardian I think they had 4-5 sheets of the artists pictures to download and print off at home!

I have this coloring book too and love it! Although I can’t seem to find markers that won’t run through the pages. May I ask which ones your children use, Courtney?
