We will be posting our Playtime Paris re-cap soon with a summary of highlights from the show, but there were a few new standouts that we wanted to share, and we’ll do so over the coming week. The first is HBB Industria Argentina, a New York-based label specialising in ‘folk chic’ clothing, all made in Argentina by independent knitters, mostly retired grandmothers. They use exotic natural wools from Argentina and South America and designs are inspired by the traditional Argentine culture… but then given a modern take with fun, bright colours. Not only that, but the wool is incredibly soft and cosy (you should have seen the three of us touching every piece in the collection!).
