We moved into our new house two months ago now, and we are just finally starting to feel settled. Boxes are (mostly) unpacked, artwork is up on the walls, and it’s starting to feel like home. I thought it would be fun to share some photos of my daughter’s bedroom. Over the past two months, this is the room where we’ve stuck everything we didn’t have space for somewhere else… which means that her room has become a bit of a hodge podge of things — an old armchair, a shabby dresser, a clunky toy chest, etc. But in a way, it has turned out to be a sort of cute. (That’s the best thing about children’s rooms — their little things are so cute, you can’t really go wrong!). So here are some photos. Let me know what you think (and I’m happy to have some tips — everything is still a work in progress!).
Bear print is from Rifle Paper Co., I bought the owl money bank at Caramel Baby in Notting Hill, the little doll is from Warm Sugar on Etsy.
The family tree print is from Famille Summerbelle and it’s my favourite thing in her room! I filled it with old photos of family (even great, great grandparents!), and it’s so fun to look at. The little bunny rabbit sticker is from Belle & Boo.
I have another print from Famille Summerbelle above the dresser — it’s the London map print. The bunny rabbit light is by Heico from Little Baby Company (Ivy loves bunny rabbits!).

Super cute! You did a great job decorating. I love your new house — I think we’re going to move on with you!!! xxx
This is so cute! I love Ivy’s room, it suits her and it really feels it has been lived in for ages – not only 2 months!

Love, love Ivy’s room! An inspiration! More interior photos please! X
Divine! You have done a fabulous job…may be ‘a hodge podge of things’ but it cetainly works. Very fresh, a little eclectic and perfect for a 2 year old! Lucky her to have the fireplace – lovely feature. well done!
Ohhh.. lovely! I’m moving in 🙂
Lucky little girl! I want this room for me…
You’ve made my day Courtney! It makes me so happy to see my prints on your daughter’s beautiful bedroom. I love the white room and the touches of colours coming from objects that you have carefully selected for Ivy. Your house must be so amazing, please show more pictures!
Wow! I’ve been trying to explain to my hubby what I would like to do to our new house and you have basically captured it in a nutshell. Absolutely beautiful!
Beautiful room, beautiful prints, beautiful toys, beautiful white floor, beautiful fireplace….Would loooooove to see the rest of the house:) I agree with Emilie, looks like you´ve lived there for much longer, than 2 months.
I love the room! I want to see more of your house! xo
thanks for sharing pics ofd your little girl’s adorable room…Truly inspirational and honestly, I would love to see more of your new house! Congrats. (I still haven’t finished my kids’ rooms and it’s been 2 years..!)
Love the room! And may I ask about the chair and footstool? I am hunting for something similar for my 2nd baby I am currently pregnant with. Would love something similar as a nursing chair. Thanks, Dee x
Hi Dee,
Thanks for your comment! I got the chair from a vintage furniture shop in London specializing in mid-century Danish designs. The chair is by Ercol… and I often see a similar chair on Ebay (although Ercol is becoming really popular now with experienced Ebay buyers… so it’s becoming trickier to buy it for a low price!).

Love the clean, fresh, crisp white and especially the art! As she gets older, she might enjoy a rug to roll around on?
Christy,
Thanks for your comment. And yes, a cute rug would make her room be even more cozy! Great tip!
xx
I absolutely LOOOOVE Ivy’s new room! You shouldn’t change a thing! Best regards, Hester
hi courtney! we may be moving to london soon with a 9 month old and another on the way in a few months.. my husband will be working in the Bond St/Mayfair area but rent there is really skyhigh… do you recommend a lovely neighborhood (good for the little ones) and with more reasonable rents? I’d appreciate any suggestions since it seems like London is truly gigantic compared to our little corner here in Florence.
best,
daisy
I absolutely love all the details! Where did you find the little yellow and cream/petrol storage bags? They are just so cute!
