We live in a relatively small flat in Paris, and because it’s…well…Paris, we tend to get a lot of guests visiting from all over the world. Sometimes the flat resembles a camping ground (minus the s’mores), and while it is a lot of fun, we do sometimes struggle to find space to fit everyone in.
My friend Carla, one of the most practical people I know, lent us her girl’s blow-up bed and it is a great little invention. It lives in a small bag when it is not being used and comes with a little pump. The sleeping bag is built in, so even smaller kids don’t roll out. It is not the cutest thing I have ever seen, but sometimes content overrules style. I got ours from the French Vertbaudet site, but I have also found similar beds on this UK website.
We have a junior readybed that we won in a competition. It was very useful when we had visitors in the summer and we will be taking it with us when we visit family at Easter.
Do you know if this is available in the U.S.?
