I think I love everything about the newly launched Stella McCartney Kids collection! It’s fun and playful, yet grown-up enough that I would be perfectly happy to wear any of the pieces. I also love that it falls somewhere in between casual and dressy — it’s stuff your kids can wear every day.
Many of the pieces can be worn by girls or boys — for example, my son has the Cosmo Hoodie… which will be worn by my daughter as soon as she gets a bit bigger. I also love the look of the Felix Jumper (for girls or boys) and the Organic Cotton Tees. And how cute are the days-of-the-week under pants?!
In keeping with the rest of Stella McCartney’s collections and partnerships, the brand is committed to environmentalism, using organic cotton wherever possible and never using fur or leather in any designs. Even my products were delivered in a 100% biodegradable package!

How are the sizes? My 4.5yo is 110cm and 17.4kg, so I’m thinking size 6, but I’m concerned that everything will be too baggy on him (baggy jeans rather than slim fitting jeans).

I find the sizes to run on the small size. I ordered my 5-year-old the jumper in a size 6 and it’s small for him. Looks pretty good on the 3.5-year-old though!
