I will first issue a warning: If your kids would be scared by a frog who gobbles up ‘bad guys’… then perhaps this book is not for you. But… if your kids are anything like mine, this may become their all-time favourite book ever!! William Bee’s  Beware of the Frog is a story of a little old lady who has a pet frog that protects her from all the scary creatures in the deep, dark, scary wood. We like to read it with great anticipation of the ‘baddies’ in the scary wood, and we like to use funny voices for all the ‘baddies’. My kids just love it! (It is also fun to find the hidden snail on every page.) William Bee is also the author/illustrator of another favourite — And the Train Goes… . The illustrations are beautiful, and his stories are hilarious!
