Nursery furniture has come a long way in the past ten years. It’s now easy to find stylish cots, beds, bedding, dressers, etc. But… up until now, stylish nursing chairs simply did not exist. I’ve always found that in order to have something comfortable and practical in the way of nursing chairs you had to sacrifice on looks. And then, in my opinion, what’s the point of buying something not-so-good-looking which you will ditch as soon as you’re finished with it? Wouldn’t it be nice to buy a beautiful chair which you can easily move from nursery to living room and keep for generations?
Enter the Olli Ella nursery furniture. Stylish… check. Comfortable… check. Practical… check. The Olli Ella nursery furniture is handmade in England and built to last for generations, and each piece is upholstered in stain-resistant microsuede ensuring it stays good looking throughout the years. You can choose from two different chair styles and two different ottomans in the colour scheme of your choice. I recently paid a visit to their pop-up shop in Islington and I can assure you those chairs are really comfortable. You can visit the Olli Ella website for more details and to order online, or check out their temporary shop which will be open until the end of the year.

I know I should know this, but what makes these specifically nursing chairs? I think about our little guy and the high arms would actually prevent nursing in some positions given his length and tendency to kick when feeding.
Thanks so much for featuring us Babyccino!
@Kidlet’s Dad Olli Ella chairs are ergonomically designed to promote nursing. The arm height, specifically is perfect for providing mum’s with arm support (not too high, not too low), and the back is more upright and supportive than your average arm chair. And the chairs have a lovely gliding motion, perfect for lulling your little one to sleep! xo Chloe
The chair is great! Definitely my style in terms of design. The price however is quite high with shipping. Close to 1200E. It will surely not be every family that can afford this or is willing to pay this high price for a chair. I do not understand why the difference in shipping is only 5GBP between continental Europe and the States. We are much closer after all.
Hi Liliana, thanks so much for the feedback on the chairs. To answer your question, the reason we have listed the shipping cost to the USA is comparable to Europe is because we subtracted the chair’s VAT from the cost of shipping (which they don’t pay in the USA) to keep things simple. Hope that this helps! X Olli Ella
Beautiful chairs – but not such a beautiful price tag!
I think a lot of parents will find it hard to part with that much cash for a chair that does pretty much the same job as any other chair. But I’m sure that there will be people with enough money that they do not have to worry about the cost and buy it. I wouldn’t say no to one!
Loving these!! Can’t believe all the lovely colour choices too – a nice break from pastels. Thanks for posting and love the site btw
Color selection is at it’s best. Space over chair is great and able to give great comfort.
These look like chairs I saw in New York by Monte design brand.
