Urbanity

airplane urbanityMy son’s second birthday is rapidly approaching. Well, it’s another 7 weeks to go, but still, I caught myself thinking about invitations, and maybe a theme already!
Stationary company Urbanity Studios might help me out a little with both ‘problems’. With their cute ‘Airplane Invitation’ I can invite the little guests to ‘fly in for a party’, and thinking of an airplane themed party I envision loads of suitcases around the house (my kids love playing with those), white balloons like clouds, little suitcases for party bags, chairs lined up like a real airplane; I could even use our tea cart to deliver beverages! Anyone have an idea where can I find a hostess uniform? (I’m sure my husband would like this too!)

charmedOK — back to earth. The air hostess uniform might be going too far, but I do seriously like the Airplane Invitation. It has a rotating propeller. It comes with a printable insert, so if you’re not completely sure about your handwriting you can actually print it yourself! Very clever. On the inside sits a removable paper airplane with instructions on how to fold it, so the invitees can practice at throwing airplanes for the ‘longest flight competition’ at home beforehand.

Urbanity also makes cute invites for little girls’ parties. Like the ‘Charmed Birthday Party Invitation’. Again, it comes with an insert that can be printed at home. And the flowery band pops out and becomes a cute bracelet – my daughter and her friends would LOVE this!

All cards by Urbanity are printed on high quality paper manufactured by wind energy — fits well within the airplane theme, I would think!
