With more than 10 different locations across central London, Carluccio’s is a good ‘go-to’ restaurant for decent Italian food, friendly service and great accommodations for kids!
While Carluccio’s is not the most original choice of restaurant, it is kid-friendly without being obnoxious, and comfortable without losing its charm. It’s a great family dinner spot where you can share a bottle of wine with your husband, while your kids stay entertained! (The happier the kids, the happier the adults!)
The kid’s menu, which includes breadsticks, entreé, a drink, and ice cream for dessert, comes as an activity set with cute wooden coloring pencils, a color-your-own puzzle kit, and other fun games. It’s super cute, and my kids LOVE it!
There are plenty of high-chairs in every restaurant, and they have baby-changing stations in the bathrooms.
They also have good Italian take-away food and serve a good cappuccino!

The best cappuccino ever! I spent so many lunches at Carluccio’s with and without entourage!
I actually only like carluccio’s for breakfast. I’ve been a few times for lunch and dinner and just did not think it was very tasty. It does look nice and it’s very kid-friendly though.
Girls (all of you!), I miss our lunches at Carluccio’s!
What is that photo? Before I scrolled all the way down I thought it was a leaf vegetable of some kind… but now I have no idea.
Oh, I do do do miss our Hampstead Carluccio. The only thing missing here in Dulwich ….(and my northern friends of course!) Food is easy going, nothing pretentious and in general very childfriendly service xxxK
yes it’s a leafy vegetable called “radicchio trevisano”, in the salad family. It’s a great autumn-winter treat. I should write a couple of recipes with it!
I had the most amazing pasta in Bologna once with radicchio on top. If you have a pasta recipe, please let me know!
i always love italian food, they are really tasty like indian foods.–‘
