I have finally found them!!! Slippers that a wiggling baby/ toddler can not kick off (or at least needs to really, really try hard to do so).
To be fair I did not find them myself; my good friend Katja gave me these Swedish-made Nowali baby moccasins as a present. I don’t know why (I think it is the extra elastic band that goes over the foot) but my 4-month-old cannot get them off! This is huge for me, as I have been constantly picking up socks and shoes off the floor, out of puddles and off dirty pavements… not fun!
I think they are also really cute in a sort of retro Swedish skiing lodge kind of way! Click here for the list of international distributors!

I just checked the website, but can’t seem to find the slippers!!!
But I noticed that they also make non-slip socks, which I love!
aren’t they called moccassins?
I am so sorry that is really silly of me. On the website they are indeed called moccassins! I will change the post now!
They do a cheap version at H&M at the moment which are great too. My daughter loves hers so much she insists on wearing them to bed.
You can also get great stripy ones at Polarn O Pyret. Not sure if you can buy them online but there are quite a few POP shops cropping up in the UK. You can check them out at:

My son lived in them until he was in ‘real’ shoes.
