Do a wash

washing-machine.jpgAs you might have noticed from one of my previous posts, I am starting to love cardboard kids’ furniture. It comes flat packed, can be packed away again if necessary and crucially, they get to decorate it themselves! I LOVE the cardboard washing machine from the Italian brand, NUME! How much fun could you have decorating and playing with it!? And it would keep my daughter away from my washing machine, which would be a good thing as she hasn’t quite grasped the concept of separating the dark wash from the white wash yet…..

The NUME cardboard washing machine is available at the Little Fashion Gallery.

For the A’dam Subscribers this might be an interesting tip! Impressions Amsterdam located at 2e Tuindwarsstraat # 8 has cardboard castles & cardboard princess chairs that come with a kit of magic markers so that children can decorate their cardboard palaces!

Charissa, the store’s owner and a good friend of mine teaches art lessons to adults in the back of the shop, and runs a gift shop with an assortment of interesting items in the front of the store! If you go in, you must tell her I said “Hi” as I’ll get oodles of brownie points for you sending you her way!!! I’ve been taking art lessons with her years and am always referring one friend or another to go experience her genuis teaching techniques! She’s toyed with the idea of doing children art parties for birthdays etc… so perhaps you could convince her to do a party for your kids!
