As Americans living in London, we are constantly travelling back and forth across the big pond to visit friends and family. We also do our fair share of travelling within Europe (we’d be crazy not too!), so I am always desperately seeking the perfect toy or game to bring with us on our journeys to keep my boys entertained (and quiet). Well, thanks to our Rookie Mom friends, I think I’ve just found it…
This ‘Goose is Loose’ fabric board game folds into a convenient 7-inch square and has a hidden pocket for the wooden game pieces. It’s light-weight (made from 100% organic cotton) and small, and will fit perfectly into your carry-on or diaper bag!
It’s a game of race-to-the-finish. Players make their way from the barn to the pond by rolling the die to see how many spaces they can move. My son is really into games right now, so I’m sure this will be a big hit (travelling or not)!
(Rookie Moms is a site with more than 300 fun activities for new mums! It’s where we found the the Uncommon Goods web-shop where this is sold)!

hi courtney (and hi the others too!)
i was referred to this blog by my girlfriend giulia, who’s partner of michela’s sister, martina in a milanese shop).
i am from milan but living in pittsburgh for 6 years now, i have one 4yo-boy, nicholas, and i’m currently pregnant with my second, emma, due in 5 weeks. i keep a blog since a couple of years. it is mainly on political issues but on my girlfriends suggestion i just started a section on pregnancy and differences you can find between europe, especially italy, and here in the US.
if you ever need another contributor for babyccino, or you want to link me, here i am, i’m wide available, i liked it very much!
ciao!
samantha
I love Uncommon Goods. They have great things. I love their infant socks like Mary Janes and ballet socks.
