Here is an article an American friend of mine living in Paris wrote. It made me laugh, as it rings very true. I thought you guys might like it as we have all been, or are, expat moms!

Too funny – and so true!! I had a whole list of things to bring over whenever I visited Holland, or when I had family / friends visit me, ranging from food to baby-care products. Of course now that I’m back, I don’t particularly care about these products.
It’s a strange world.

yes, that’s so true!

and now I miss so many things I got used to while in London: breakfast sausages, libanese food, Gap, nice flowers, starbucks, Boots vitamins…

It is sooo soo true. I just went to the deli in Hampstead that sells American foods and spent 5 pounds on Pumpkin Pie mix, 8 pounds on a box of Cheerios, and 7 pounds for proper baking soda! (That’s how much I miss those good ‘ol American treats)!
