Supriya is a NYC mom who recently launched her store Baby Baazaar, an online collection that sells eco-friendly, handcrafted baby toys, books and blankets made in the East. You will find stunning blankets, designed by Supriya and handmade in Jaipur, India using traditional methods of screen printing, quilting and layered muslin. The wooden toys are organic and handmade near Bangalore, India by a Fair trade Company, made with traditional lacware techniques and natural dyes that are characteristic of the little village where they have been created. The stuffed toys are made in Sri Lanka by women who weave the cotton fabric by hand and then create the little creatures.
