Le Carrousel de Paris

Processed with VSCOcam with c1 preset Processed with VSCOcam with c1 presetLast weekend, we spent entirely in our garden — there is just so much work to be done! We’ve been sewing seeds, weeding weeds, trimming trees… and the children were ever so helpful, collecting worms and snails and whatever else needed to be done. ; )

I took the opportunity to take a few quick snapshots of Ava wearing her sweet linen dress from the Parisian brand Le Carrousel. I love this dress — it’s just perfect for weekends, for parties or gardening alike!

Le Carrousel has a super sweet collection of classic French, stylish fashion. Cuts are very timeless and fabrics in sweet flowery patterns or fresh stripes make for a modern, simple silhouette. Sizes go up to age 10, and there’s an adorable baby collection too!

What an adorable dress.

This particular dress is cute from this collection, but every time I look at their line of clothing, all I see is poor construction, with seams never pressed out, gathers that aren’t even, pinched seems and ill fit. I don’t like to leave negative comments on blogs because, well it isn’t nice, but I feel like someone has to say it….. this line of clothing is skating by only because they are French, and claiming that the line is from Paris. I can’t think of any other reason, because as a seamstress and owner of my own line, I would feel horrible selling clothes that were constructed like Le Carrousel.

Hi Elizabeth, I can only speak from my own experience with Le Carrousel of course, but I haven’t had bad experiences at all with their clothing! But thanks for leaving a comment. xxx
