Insider tips: Positano, Italy

The lovely Joanna from A Cup Of Jo (who is expecting her second baby any minute now!!) recently asked me to share my insider tips on Positano with her readers.

We’ve now been to Positano every year for the past ten years. For us, it feels like going home — some of the locals even feel like family. It is certainly one of our favourite places in the whole wide world, and so it was easy answering her questions and sharing our tips. Thank you Joanna for featuring them on your blog!

xx Courtney

Ooh I just love Positano, I used to go to the Amalfi Coast all the time to review hotels for work (great job!). And we went to Capri last weekend, just the two of us. Anacapri reminded me a bit of Positano, much simpler than Capri town. I’m looking forward to taking the children to that area, great to hear all your tips, thanks!

Horray! Since I saw your photos of Positano last year I fall in love with the lovely terrace and now it’s on my wishlist for travels. And obviously I wanted to see your tips and photos of your cuteness family. It’s true that here in Spain we have lovely places to go on vacation, I’m still enjoying my grandma’s house in Costa Brava (near Barcelona) in front of the sea.

We also have been in Menorca so many years, and I have to tell you that is such a great place to go with family and walk to discover beautiful beaches and do familiar tourism. xxx

What a beautiful place! Just curious of how you and your family get into Positano? Taxi, bus?? We are planning on going in September with two young children flying from Toronto to Rome.

Is there anything to do in Positano for kids in October? Is the water still warm enough to swim in?

Am heading to Italy in October and considering Positano!

Wow, I’ve never been to Positano, but it seems such an amazing place, the pictures on the internet are mind blowing. And It’s good to know that it’s a nice place to go with the family :)

I’m planning my trip to Italy and, if you’d like to meet other places with the little ones, I found this website that has some great family tours available, as other tours and trips that you might like!

Thanks for your posts, I love your blog! <3
