The perfect baby sleeping bag
Over the past 7 years I’ve spent as a mother, I’ve probably tried at least 7 different types of sleeping bags. I’m a big fan of sleeping bags, or ’sleep sacks’ as we call them, because they keep babies cosy and warm without the use of many extra blankets, and as your baby gets bigger and wigglier, I like the fact that they can’t kick off their covers. You can basically always be assured that your little one is warm and snuggly in their bed when they’re inside their sleeping bag. I also like that when you travel, all you have to take is your baby’s sleeping sack, and they are in familiar bedding.
So… which one is my favourite? I love the Merino Kids Go Go Bags. They’re made of superfine merino wool which keeps kids cool in the summer and warm in the winter. They’re super soft (and get even softer over time!), and they have a little slot through which you can buckle their buggy or car seat through… so you don’t have to take the sleeping bag off if you want to transfer them from cot to buggy. I think they’re also the best quality sleeping bags I’ve tried. (With other brands, I’ve had problems with snaps, zippers, holes, etc.) The Merino Kids sleeping bags are available at Naturalmat.

I used these for my son – they are perfect sleeping bags.
My daughter Rio slept in one and has now handed it down to her little brother Arrow, who loves it too. After trying many other kinds, nothing compares to this sleep sack. My babies sleep SO well in it!
