Cute party ideas from LMNOP Magazine

Isn’t this pint-sized berry basket such a brilliant goody bag idea? I’m definitely copying this idea for our next birthday party. I’ve always loved the idea of giving veggie seeds in a goody bag (in fact I’ve done it before!), but this whole presentation is just so perfect. It’s one of many cute party ideas in the newest issue of LMNOP magazine. Check out the rest of the issue here.

I love this idea. I did a similar bag (we call them party bags in Australia) for my daughters 4th bday. I bought small terracotta pots and the kids all painted one each during the party. Then when they left, they each got a small clear zip lock bag full of dirt and a packet of seeds – mostly vegetable seeds! It was a huge hit!! We had great feedback on it for months while they all watched their plants grow in their personalized pots.
My daughters birthday is January and i cannot tell you how OVER lollies I am by this time – it was a perfect solution.

Emma,
I love the idea of the small terracotta pots that the kids get to decorate. Such a sweet idea.
I’m sooo over all the plastic junk my kids get at all these birthday parties. It always ends up in the bin… creating more landfill. The whole concept of planting a plant is the exact opposite and SO lovely!
Thanks for leaving a comment.
