I’ve bought my kids enough little gliders to know they don’t last long. They’re usually broken within 10 minutes of their first flight (the Styrofoam ones are the worst!), leading to tears and disappointment. But I got my kids a few of these Rubber Band Artful Flyers at the beginning of the summer, and two out of three are still going strong. I’m not sure if they’re better quality, or if we’ve just gotten lucky… but in any case, the one thing I can say is that they fly better than the normal ones. The rubber band propeller allows them to stay in the air for longer so they fly pretty well for a little wooden thing. They’re available from Little Scout along with many other cool toys for boys.
