Playtime Paris

Another balmy summer, another Playtime — the biggest children’s fair in France. It is the perfect place to meet old friends and new and catch up with what has been going on in the world of children’s fashion and deco. This year I took my children along, which was great. The children’s ateliers are a huge amount of fun (you do need to register in advance). My daughters also loved walking around the fair and checking out the stands (people offering them bonbons wherever they went might possibly have something to do with this…).

Here are some of my favourite discoveries: As usual, Bobo Choses have the most beautiful collection coming out. I also loved the Lili and The Funky Boys collection — very sweet and original. Some other highlights were the free spirited collection by Ada Ada, the super stylish designs by Aravore and the fabulous sneakers by Veja… These are just the tip of the ice-berg — my list could go on and on!

It is so much fun going to an event like Playtime and seeing so many great things made for kids by people with a huge amount of passion for what they are doing!
