Playtime Paris

This weekend, from the 29th to the 31st of January, Playtime will be in Paris.  Playtime is now the children’s events in Paris — it’s always at lot of fun and really inspiring. A number of great brands will be represented, such a Bobo Choses, Lily and the Funky Boys, Mundo Melicoton, April Showers by Polder, Ada Ada… and lots of other Babyccino Kids favourites .

Such a fun chance to meet up with people, see how brands have developed and discover new and exciting labels. And there is always a great space to take your children to play, and a place to meet up for coffee. Let me know if you are going to be there!

Hi Emilie, you must be busy right now at Playtime Paris but I hope you have a minute for some advice … I will be in Paris for just one day (this Monday) with my 17-month-old toddler and I searched Babyccino Paris’ City Guide … I could not find anything interesting that’s open on Mondays. The museums are closed, places like Serendipity and Les 400 Coups will be closed. Do you have any suggestions? Interesting toddler’s shops, play spaces, restaurants … open on a Monday?

Have fun! It’s too bad that Bubble is also this weekend. I would have loved to have gone to Playtime this year.

Esther and Courtney, it would have been so much fun to have you there! Next time we have to go together!
Angelique, Monday is a tricky day in Paris, the Pompidou Centre is open, I really like taking my kids there. There is a children’s gallery on the Mezzanine level and it is always fun to ride up and down those famous escalators.http://www.junior.centrepompidou.fr/
The Galerie de l’evolution (the natural history museum) in the Jardin des Plantes is also open on a Monday, and I think that even a 17 month year old will be engaged by the animals in there. http://www.mnhn.fr/

Hi Emilie … I noted your reply just in time, we’re about to fly out. The suggestions are perfect … I see it’s -3 degrees and cloudy there, so indoor activities are ideal. Thank you!
