My kids and I are big fans of Little Red Riding Hood, and then especially of the scary wolf. I love building up the story to the famous part where LRRH exclaims ‘But grandmother, what big teeth you have…’! My kids scream every time, it doesn’t matter that it’s the gazzilionth time they’re hearing it!
This is why I couldn’t resist getting them this wonderful pop-up book. It has beautiful, artistic sepia illustrations by Louise Rowe — the book really is a pleasure to look at. (I will have to do something with those leafy trees soon… I’m thinking an art project?)
