		<description>BTW - I tried drying the finished artwork in the oven (100 degrees celcius) -- it took a couple of hours but worked very well! We&#039;re going to start painting tomorrow!</description>

I don&#039;t think 16 months is too young at all! They love to research tactile experiences at that age, and playdough is such a great material to do so! The worst thing that can happen is that she puts it in her mouth, but she won&#039;t like the taste very much (it&#039;s very salty) and even if she does -- it&#039;s not at all toxic!</description>
