Last fall Esther wrote a really cute post about collecting acorns and chestnuts and turning them into little ‘chestnut chaps’.  I thought it was such a cute idea and definitely worth repeating for this theme week.  I love the idea of bundling up your family and taking a long walk together to collect nuts and leaves.  And making the little men (and animals) is easy — you just poke some wooden skewers or matchsticks into the chestnuts and form them however you wish.  A really simple project, perfect for this time of year.
