Buddy is the English name of this very Italian gadget produced by OKbaby. It was a hand-me-down from a neighbour and I honestly think it’s a great invention. It’s a bath chair that is reclined enough for very young babies and sits low enough so you don’t need to fill the tub to the edge to have your baby warm under the water. It is suitable from birth up to around 8 months. The position of the supports are designed really well — there’s one between the legs and two under the arms, so the baby is safely blocked yet comfortable. I found this really useful when I was bathing both kids at the same time; it gave me the chance to free my hands to wash my older son’s hair because I could leave my daughter in her buddy.
Italian online shops are not great with shipping abroad (some do, but charge a lot), but you can easily buy it from some eBay dealer (new!!!).
