Left, right, man, woman, black, white…

Do you know what I’m talking about? That’s right, the US elections. Today, the day after Super Tuesday, there was little else people were talking about in the Netherlands!
Obama, Hillary, McCain, McCain, Hillary, Obama. Blablabla.
I must say I’m pretty intrigued myself: who will win?
Anyway, whoever wins (Hillary should, in my opinion), we will surely be better off than we are at the moment, as the president of the United States is also a little bit the president of the Netherlands!
Is this the same in your countries? Or are you too busy gossiping about your president marrying a supermodel, or something like that?

Whatever happens with it (go Obama!)-one thing is for sure, there is finally a movement in this country. And that movement is for change! Thank god!
i think i’d rather hillary wins this time….obama will have other chances. or…. hillary-obama together.
let’s see what happens!!!
It is interesting that we are in a situation where the whole world is depended or the population of one country. You are absolutely right , who ever wins this election is going to have a huge impact on all the countries we live in, and there is nothing we can do about it!
As a voter, I must say that I felt more empowered during these primaries than I had in a long time. I am banking on the suspected flood of change that is headed our way. I am tired of being the laughing stock of the world!
I think it’s so GREAT that everyone (even non-americans) are excited about this up-coming election! We are all ready for change and it’s great to see how excited people are for a change in politics.
I’m hoping that after this election we won’t have to hide-out in embarrassment (or pretend that we’re Canadian) here in London!
