A little organization (and a lot of cool)!

Nokia N95 PhoneDoes anyone else feel like they’re losing their mind? I mean, I could have sworn I was much more ’sharp’ back in the days BC (before children)…

Yesterday I put my 2-year-old’s underpants on the baby and without a second thought, walked away into the kitchen to cook dinner. The other day I left the house without a bra (and also forgot to brush my teeth!) and didn’t even realize it until I went to take it off at night! And the worst one (which was actually quite funny) was this weekend when I strapped a bib onto my husband at breakfast! He literally looked up at me with “are you insane?” in his eyes.

Well, possibly yes. But I just have too many things going on in my brain so the simple (and sane) things are slipping…

I wonder how my mom raised FIVE kids?!! (And without a fancy new mobile phone with a built-in calendar that sends reminders)…

I am so NOT a phone expert (my husband bought this for me, or I would still be carrying around some old, elementary-style phone from the late ’90s!), but this Nokia N95 is pretty handy! It has a 5 megapixel camera, built-in GPS satellite navigation, Wi-Fi internet AND a calendar!

But forget its handy features –the best thing about my new phone is that I just feel cool carrying it. (Almost like I want to take it out and place it on the table at a restaurant just so people think I’m really “with-it”)!

AND it really encourages me to be organized and fashionable (surely someone who carries a phone like this should look stylish, brush her teeth, and arrive to her appointments on time)!

Now if only it could “unfog” my brain…

This cracked me up – the thought of safety-dad with bib and the look in his eyes, I can just imagine… – Sooo funny!
Also very recognizable – I feel the same way, I must have the same clouds in my head!

it looks cool indeed, but I suppose it would take me a long time to learn how to use it properly.
I still somehow rely on my moleskine diary…

I am still addicted to my fllofax. It think it has something to do with remembering things better if I write them down. Maybe I am getting old??

Okay, me too. I still haven’t figured out how to use this yet, and I probably will never completely rely on my phone for that… BUT i still feel quite cool carrying it around! :)
