My Ikea list is growing and growing! I am definitely going to pick this up the next time I'm there. I've seen it as Esther's house and have noticed how much the kids love it.

My 2 kids were using the stepstool as a dining table last week. So cute! I love that stool, it should be present in every house w/ kids!!

What a coincidence! My daughter took it upon herself to use our Bekvam as a desk all on her own. She drags it all over the place. Only problem is, it is still a stepstool and she can get herself into (higher) worlds of trouble if I'm not keeping a close eye!

What a wonderful idea using it as a portable desk; It really has not crossed my mind.

I love this step! We have (a rather beat up) one in our kitchen for reaching up high but I do find we all use it in different ways. I often sit at the island on it, reading the papers (yes I still do!). I love the idea of it as a desk-will have to try. Funny as we've been scratching our heads trying to sort out a desk for our 4yo, now that she's in big school and has homework. Want something that will like nice in her room but know it will be abused in these early years (stickers, crayons, etc!). Thanks for this idea.
