these are fantastic! Just what i would want when planning our few days in Amsterdam on the way to Kenya......... Just one thought - places to stay. It seems there are always places to stay that locals know about that don't immediately pop up on the internet (Canal boats, farms etc. ). I can not wait to leaf through all you guys have put together!

Hi Ladies I love this idea local information when travelling is always good but hard to find if you are travelling with children. I just had a quick look at the London guide and I definitely think you should add Greenwich Park. I am biased as I live on that side of London but my daughter loves it at any time of year. In the winter we often visit the National Maritime Museum which has a Paul’s cafe inside, or the Royal Observatory (both are free entry). In the summer there is the Pavilion Tea House which has some amazing views and great food for kids if you don’t have time to make a picnic. There is the children’s boating pond next to an excellent playground which we use year around.
Of course there is the market and nearby 2 great new shops have opened. First one is the Rhodes Bakery which we have become regular at for our weekend sourdough and the odd cupcake or brownie. Then there is Biscuit Ceramic Cafe which serves coffee and cupcakes while you decorate the ceramic piece of your choice.

I hope you feel the same as we do about the park and add it to your city guide.

Will you girls ever explain to all of us, how you could possible manage to have two kids each (at least), a daily job, sometimes a husband (!!), sometimes a house (!!), AND still have the strength to come up with these great ideas AND realize them?!?!

(Phew - Just the thought of it, knock me off!)
