It beat out the kelty, two itterations of the baby bjorn and any number of slings and wraps. Just the most practical carrier on the block! I tried my ERGO when my daughter was 3 1/2 months and as soon as I pulled her legs apart to perch her around my waist, she started crying. But she LOVES it now and I love that I'm so comfortable carrying her. It really does balance the weight much better than anything else I've tried (BBjorn, slings, etc).
