Be sensual…
March 13th, 2008
The other day I went to the optician for new lenses. The optician, a very friendly man (with very cool glasses, like opticians often have!) complimented me on my scent so vigorously that it made me blush.
He’s not the first to notice my smell though… people have been complementing me for the last 4 years (I’ve been a fan since this perfume first hit the stores)!
I’m talking about Narciso Rodriguez’ perfume called ‘For Her’. It’s a spicy, sensual perfume without becoming heavy or sweet. I just love it (although I don’t really smell it on myself anymore). And I don’t just like the smell, I also like the bottles. Black or pink and minimalistic. Cool.
Try it. If you really, really like it, you should get the Musc: ‘The ultimate skin seduction – this silky perfumed oil kisses your skin with the sultry scent of Egyptian musk’. Wow. Your husband will like it too…
xxx Esther

When I first met Esther, her scent was one of the first things I noticed. It was just SO lovely. Every time I ever borrowed something from her, her clothes would have that same ‘Esther’ smell….
For my birthday last year she bought me my very own Narciso Rodriguez collection (perfume, lotion, hair spritz), and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. It really is the best perfume!

Esther – I loooove this perfume! and I too have been wearing it since it first launched {I received a gratis bottle from the launch party at Saks NY}…and it now is my signature scent. And you are right – my husband is always telling me how yummy I smell! I still like the original – black bottle the best…

well…. now I’m curious.
I have to admit I have not noticed it. But I rarely do ….. sad I know.
But who knows, maybe once I smell it I will have a “proustian madeleine” moment and will remember all my nice afternoons with Esther!!!

My “secret” is out! I discovered this in Heathrow Airport (of all places) 3 years ago. I don’t think I will ever wear anything else!

Sadly, we do not have a retailer in our city that sells this perfume. I contacted the company for a free sample because I was so intrigued by your post. However, they only replied to encourage me to visit a perfumery and experience the musc. I wish we had one here.

Oh Amisare, that is so sad! Maybe you should just order it online – try the eau de toilette first, it’s the best!

I absolutely love this fragrance! After reading about it, I went on Ebay and bought a set of 5 mini bottles for about $10. Three are eau du toilette, and 2 are eau du parfum. Now I have one every place that I would ever want a “refresher” spray at (i.e. car, purse, desk, gym bag).
