Chocolate Stars
I have a son who, like his father, is OBSESSED with Chocolate! When I needed incentives for getting him through potty-training, I used M&Ms (one for each successful trip to the toilet). When I need him to sit still on a plane, I bring out mini M&Ms and give him one at a time. When I need him to behave and eat his dinner at a restaurant, I tell him about the chocolate ice cream he can have for dessert. (Call me a bad mother for using bribery, but I don’t care- it works)!
So… imagine how excited I was when I found this organic Chocolate Stars cereal! (Just the thing I needed to get him to hurry up and finish his cereal so I can get him to school on time)!
This Doves Farm organic cereal is wheat and gluten free and made with real organic chocolate. My son (and even my husband) loves it!
There is no more sugar in these than, say, the bran flakes I eat for breakfast. And isn’t there something about chocolate having antioxidants?? So I’m not such a bad mother afterall…

Don’t worry Courtney, I am all for bribery! I think all mam’s get driven to this desperate measure, you are just the more honest one who admits it! Anyway, with my son it works very well in the morning (if you prefer to give a sandwich or porridge) to put him in front of childrens program on television. Just the threat of turning off the tellie makes him finish his breakfast in no time (so tellie is in actual fact only on for 15 minutes!).
