Sensible nursing bra

When it comes to cute nursing bras we all agree that the Maternelle nursing bras by Elle Macpherson are the best, as Courtney already mentioned. But if you’re like me and have a tendency to develop engorged painful breasts in the first weeks of breastfeeding, then only the softest bras will do…
I discovered with my first pregnancy (and unfortunately not early enough) that the only suitable bras are the Bravado nursing bras.
Their Original Nursing Bra is the nursing equivalent of a sports bra. They are definitely not sexy, but they are reasonable and very comfortable. Sizes are easy to get right as they are of the S-M-L-XL type so you can easily buy them online from their website (or look up stockists).
Having said that, the first few weeks are coming to an end… so I’ll soon switch to the Maternelle bras (but in the meantime, I’m still thankful for the Bravado ones)!

I know what you mean – the first weeks I wanted to burry my sensitive boobs in the biggest, softest, most comfortable bras available! But – as you say – there will be a moment you’re happy to switch to something more elegant! (I’m also a big fan of the Elle Macpherson range)!
