Pull-along snail…
January 16th, 2008
Now that my (8-month-old) baby is walking, I can safely say that he’s past the baby-rattle stage and on to bigger and better things: walking toys! Time to dig into our toy chest and bring out one of my older son’s most favorite toys, the Plan Toys Pull-Along Snail!
Not only is the snail SO darn cute, but he slithers along (up and down, up and down) as you pull his string. He’s made from 100% recycled rubber wood, and finished with non-toxic paint (which is good because my baby isn’t quite over the “stick everything in the mouth” phase)!
The snail is meant to encourage balance and steady walking; perfect as my wobbly little man takes to his feet. Although if my 2-year-old spots his little brother with HIS beloved snail, my baby had better learn to run…

Oh, I love that silly wobbly snail. Do you think I’ll finally have an excuse to get it when my 10 month old starts walking?

My little guy is turning one next week. I can’t believe it! He is my third child but my only boy. I am trying to decide what to get him for his 1st birthday, and I will certainly buy him this snail. It’s too cute. Any other suggestions for little boys? Having shopped only for girls in the past, I am having trouble this time around.

Ena, my son is turning one tomorrow, and I still don’t know what to get him!
I’m contemplating about buying him one of these wooden canal-houses,
but my husband thinks we have too many toys already…
