British vs. American English (the funny differences)
January 11th, 2008
Was just reading one of our favorite blogs, Petite Anglaise, and found this post about the differences between ‘American’ and English. Sort of interesting, and quite funny…
And it’s very true. My 2 1/2-year-old comes home from his British nursery and corrects my (American) English. The other day he said, “No mummy, it’s not a trunk– it’s a boot!”
Bless him… (as they say here in England).
